Ample Power.

An innovative project management and commercial construction company, Ample Power focus on the journey, not just the outcome. Whether maintaining existing properties or advising on and constructing new ones, they thrive on problem-solving and welcome challenges, breaking down the barriers of what many consider possible.

Often operating under tight timeframes, they offer a full-package service across every aspect of a build, disrupting the industry’s status quo. Flexible, collaborative, and dynamic, this Telford business needed an equally disruptive brand grounded in strength.

Direction & identity

The brand identity needed to reflect Ample Power’s positive, journey-driven mindset and forward-thinking spirit. It needed to feel optimistic, dynamic and approachable, with an overarching sense of confidence and progression.

At the heart is a bold, ownable marque that combines a lightning bolt symbolising power with an ‘A’ for Ample. It visually and symbolically represents strength and energy. This was then translated into a flexible graphic device made of three shapes derived from the marque, creating visual interest that’s completely ownable to the brand.

As for the wordmark, this further embodies confidence and presence. We selected a bold, grotesque typeface with distinctive letterforms to reflect Ample Power’s disruptive, no-nonsense approach. Like them, it challenges conventional industry norms.

Visual language & typography

Compelling imagery with a mix of black-and-white and duotone visuals is paired with strong type to mirror a brand unafraid to disrupt and challenge expectations. The colour palette is optimistic, with an enthusiastic orange and trusted blue. A refreshing pop of purple acts as a subtle nod to their previous branding, giving this bold new identity a sense of relatability.

Headings are deliberately large and bold, mirroring the company’s confidence in the service they provide and the strength in their construction.  The angular, modern typeface speaks to their cutting-edge, construction-driven mindset, delivering a presence that feels strong without being overbearing.

Messaging & tone of voice

Built around a belief in possibility and progress, their tone of voice is confident, direct and reassuring. They reframe problems as potential while focusing on care and trust, encouraging those faced with complex builds, constraints or difficult conditions.

This comes through in lines such as ‘Where you see a challenge, we see opportunity’, which shift fear into forward motion. Ambitious without being aggressive, their messaging positions them as a company that supports, solves, shoulders pressure, and delivers outcomes that clients can rely on.
