More than a brief: Catching up with Heaven Skincare.

Catching up with Heaven Skincare about new products, hormone holidays and our long-standing digital partnership. When you've worked with a brand this long, the relationship goes much deeper than monthly reporting and project scopes.

More than a brief: Catching up with Heaven Skincare.

With the recent launch of their new website, it felt like the perfect time to grab my camera and join Roksana and Beth in visiting long-standing client, Heaven Skincare.

Boasting an A-list celebrity customer base and holding a prestigious Royal Warrant, Heaven’s products are recognised for their uncompromising quality. Roksana even joined our Head of Digital, Arthur, on a previous factory visit in 2023 to meet Queen Camilla herself.

But despite royal connections and global prestige, the heart of the business remains incredibly grounded and driven by a genuine passion for the craft.

The goal of our visit this time was simple. Catch up with their Creative Director, Ella, see the new website in action and find out what the next year holds for a brand that has always refused to stand still.

The sensory side of the brand

As both a content creator and illustrator, I spend my days trying to capture the essence of a brand through different media. And there’s something incredibly grounding about stepping into the physical space where the products we market are actually made.

Ella took us straight to the factory floor. It’s one thing to see a packaging concept on a screen back in Shrewsbury, but seeing the physical products being carefully boxed up in their branded packaging brings the whole process to life.

Our visit quickly turned into a sensory masterclass with an exclusive preview of their upcoming product launches, including the beautifully crafted scents of some new hand creams. It’s these tactile, physical details that remind us exactly why we build the digital ecosystems we do.

At the end of the day, it’s all about getting these incredible products into the hands of customers.

Navigating hormones & holistic beauty

One thing the visit confirmed about Heaven Skincare is that they’ve never been a brand to simply follow industry trends. They prefer to set them.

One especially exciting product Ella introduced us to was their new Eternal Bio Anti-ageing Hormone Cream. The conversation naturally shifted into an enlightening discussion about how menopause, hormonal fluctuations and even diet impact the skincare products we should be using.

It’s a deeply holistic approach to beauty, which extends perfectly into their newly launched ‘Hormone Holidays’ for team members. This brilliant initiative is designed to support female members of the business through hormonal changes, proving that Heaven’s ethos goes beyond product launches and is a core part of their company culture.

Pioneering the digital space

And of course, it wouldn’t be an agency catch-up without a bit of screen time. We sat down with Ella to review the newly launched website that our web team recently built.

Looking at the new platform, it was the perfect moment to reflect on just how much the digital landscape has shifted since we first started working together. Heaven Skincare was genuinely at the forefront of the beauty industry when they first launched their product subscriptions.

What was then an innovative leap has now completely taken off. Subscriptions are the backbone of their digital sales, proving that when you have the courage to be an early adopter and say ‘yes’, the long-term payoff is immense.

Dogs, dirt & TikTok

But it wasn’t all work. A sign of a great client relationship is when the conversation inevitably drifts to real-life updates.

It was genuinely lovely to have a proper catch-up about what Ella’s been up to outside of the factory, and most importantly, her dog, Jock. And with Ella launching her very own gardening TikTok page, we also got some great horticultural tips.

More than a brief

When you work with a client for almost ten years, they stop being just a brief. They become part of the agency’s extended family. This is the philosophy we apply to all our partnerships, both new and old, building those relationships on genuine care for the business and its people.

We had a brilliant afternoon celebrating how far Heaven Skincare has come, and more importantly, where Ella and the team are heading next.
